Aleck is Senior Advisor at StrategyCorp, a leading Canadian public affairs, management consulting and communications firm.

Aleck joined StrategyCorp in 2015, after serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Ontario Energy Board for seven years. As COO, Aleck helped lead the OEB through a period of considerable change in its governance, regulatory processes, and approach to consumer and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining the OEB, Aleck worked in the private sector, first as a partner at a leading Canadian law firm and then as an executive in an international supplier of natural gas and electricity, with responsibility for regulatory affairs across North America and the United Kingdom.

At SCI, Aleck has advised clients in both the private and public sectors regarding regulatory and public policy matters relating to infrastructure development, strategic planning, and energy sector transformation.

He has served on several public advisory groups, including the Ontario Market Design Committee, the Technical Panel of the Ontario IESO, the Smart Grid Forum, and the Clean Energy Zone, Toronto Metropolitan University.

Aleck is a graduate of Oxford University, University of Toronto Law School, and Yale Law School.
